The SARS eFiling App is an innovation from the South African Revenue Service (SARS) that will appeal to the new generation of mobile taxpayers. With the new eFiling App, taxpayers are able to complete and submit their annual Income Tax Returns quickly and easily on their iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad and receive their assessment. The SARS eFiling App brings simple convenient, easy and secure eFiling to the palm of your hand, anytime, anywhere.
If you are registered for eFiling as an Individual you can use the SARS eFiling App to:
•View, complete and submit your annual Income Tax Return (ITR12)
•Save and edit your ITR12 locally on your device
•Use the tax calculator to get an indication of your assessment outcome
•View the status of your return once submitted
•View a summary of your Notice of Assessment (ITA34)
•Request and view your Statement of Account (ITSA).

At first I thought to myself, a SARS app? How would this work and how user friendly could they possibly make it. Turns out its SUPER easy to use and ultra user friendly. I actually submitted my return while taking a ride on the Gautrain. Well done to the development team!!!

Good idea and good effort - requires some fine tuning in terms of selecting items/menus. Sure with the next update a lot of these minor bugs will be fixed.
Only one gripe is that the graphics are completely unoptimized. The juddery scrolling action is not what I expect on my ipad 3. Perhaps a review of this is possible? Otherwise app is perfect and easy to use, no problems at all!
Everytime when Im trying to log in, I get an error message saying " Internal server error occurred , try again later" . This app is not optimized, its totally non-functional.
